Sri Lanka won the toss

Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and chose to bat against India in the 8th ODI of the tri-series at the Gabba in Brisbane on Tuesday.

According to Mahindananda Aluthgamage the Sports Minister a taskforce has been appointed by the government to compete more successfully at the 2013 SAARC games being held in New Delhi India. An Action Committee and a Secretariat office both also have been setup, the Minister stated.
