Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat against India in the 5th One Day International in the Commonwealth Bank Triangular series.

Peter Forrest the newcomer and David Hussey recorded half-centuries as Australia set India 270 runs to win Sunday’s one-day match at Adelaide Oval. Peter made 66 on international debut and Hussey top-scored with 72 as Australia compiled 8-269 from 50 overs.

Charith Senanayake a former test cricketer has been appointed as the new Manager of the Sri Lanka cricket team by replacing Anura Tennakoon, for the upcoming Tri-series in Australia.
